Read:
India Knight’s piece on why cooking is the welcome distraction we need – here. “Cooking, no matter how random, is about valuing yourself and those you love enough to feed them something good. It is deeply consoling”.
“Every life is both ordinary and extraordinary – it is the respective proportion of those two categories that make life appear interesting or humdrum.” – William Boyd, Any Human Heart.
I am soooo behind but I devoured Sex Education and have become completely OBSESSED – reading and watching every interview I can get my hands on. Really liked this recent one with the sensational Aimee Lou Wood – here.
Listen:
To Reese Witherspoon’s beautifully candid conversation with Jameela Jamil on Jameela’s podcast I Weigh
Make:
My seeds have arrived! Which I am very excited about.I ordered french beans, borlotti beans, parsley, basil, chives, rocket and corn salad. Tomatoes and chillis are on my list for when they are back in stock. I am yet to plant so don’t have a picture of them in their beds but wanted to share as planting is so easy and now is the perfect time. You don’t need a garden, just a window sill, a few pots, some peat-free compost and a watering can.
Mine are from Vital Seeds
Watch:
