Blue Skies

Named after Noah and the Whale’s track, Blue Skies, which was written for their 2009 album The Last Days of Spring. The song itself is rather poignant, following the breakup of the relationship between the band's lead singer Charlie Fink and Laura Marling. But it’s a song I've always liked, as one with a positive sentiment “blue skies are coming”, coupled with understanding “but I know that it's hard”. It’s what I’ve been plugging into for the last few months and much the same as normal it’s about three hours of easy breezy listening.
